So apparently finding something to write about everyday for 31 days lasted about 5 days…now it’s only day 6 and I feel like I’m really reaching for words…
I’m back on the road for work which means a lot of windshield time. Not so much writing time.
And since it’s only day 6 of 31 I figured I should write something I can build on in the next 25 days.
And that, my friend, is how Tuesday Triumphs was born.
I don’t know about you, but it is so easy for me to focus on the negative…what’s going wrong… instead of remembering the small, seemingly insignificant triumphs of daily life.
I went to that negative place last week…this past weekend. Focused on everything I am struggling with instead of everything God has brought me through…
I don’t want to live there. I want to live in the joy I find when I choose to focus on all the good and even see the good in the struggles.
Today, my Tuesday Triumph is getting to day 6 of the 31 day writing challenge.
I know it may seem like such a small thing, but I love to write. I don’t make the time to write as often as I want to because it’s mostly a selfish thing. I write for me. Yes, I hope others enjoy what I write and I am so thankful God has used this space to reach women who are going through the same struggle I am.
So I’m proud of me for sticking to this challenge. For taking time to do this for me.
What are you doing for you?
